The Sierra Empire Arabian Horse Association came into
being over 30 years ago when a group of Arabian horse enthusiasts
decided to form their own association affiliated with the International
Arabian Horse Association.
The idea was to give Arabian horse owners an
opportunity to meet others captivated and charmed by the breed. We
exchange information about training, breeding, horse care, showmanship,
etc. The club members are active in all aspects of the Arabian horse
world with their Arabians, Half-Arabians and Anglo-Arabians.
We are dedicated to improving and preserving breed
standards, and providing continuing education, by holding clinics,
seminars and training shows. For fun and relaxation we have trail rides
and poker rides. There are social and business activities, such as
dinner meetings, barbecues and holiday parties.
Once a year we have an "A" show so our members and
guests can show the results of all their hard work. This rated show is a
qualifying show for Region 1 Championships, Youth Nationals, Canadian
Nationals, Sport Horse Nationals and U.S. Nationals.
We provide funds for benevolent uses and for carrying
out these expressed purposes. We make it our goal to help each other and
promote all the Arabian breeds. SEAHA members are always willing to
answer Questions about the truly wonderful Arabian horse breeds.
